Performance problems in children with developmental disorders in Albania

INTRODUCTION:  

Performance  problems arise at an elevated rate in children with brain disability. Some studies have showed that children with autism present with even higher rates. Little is known about the appearance, development and family collision of these troubles in children with autism. This survey intended to investigate these issues in kids with persistent developmental disorders and their families.

METHODS:  

This study consisted of 118 children aged 17-50 months, prior to a developmental appraisal clinic. Parents fulfilled a questionnaire on child performance problems family running, their own mental health and stress in parenting their child. The child's speech and cognitive ability, adaptive operation and performance were evaluated by standardized measures that were recurred 1 year later. Performance problems in young kids and their impact on parental results investigated over time.

RESULTS:

Preliminary and record measures of kid performance problems, parent mental health problems, parent stress and family operation were considerably associated, supplying some data of constancy over time. Child performance difficulties provided notably more to mother stress, parent mental health troubles, and distinguished family dysfunction than child diagnosis  Proportionate to mothers, all fathers stated extensively not as much stress concerning their child.

CONCLUSIONS:  

The outcomes emphasized the significance of tackling performance problems in very little children with autism or developmental delay. The need for early sustain and involvement for mothers, fathers and families in this situation was also confirmed.
