Integrated Actions between Vigilance, Assistance and Vectors assuring control of epidemic dengue in the municipality of Campo Grande-MS 2013
METHODS: The actions in the field with vector control were heightened by task force of community health workers, increase in personal action planning in neighborhoods with higher incidence, social mobilization and participation of partners from public, private, NGOs and military character, as churches and associations. For patient care units were opened in 8 primary care services with extended hours facilitating access to care.
RESULTS: With all the control measures adopted was possible to drastically reduce the number of cases, closing the month of February with a 50% reduction in the number of cases, while maintaining positivity of about 85%, which demonstrated the persistence of movement of virus . The shares and the reduction was maintained in subsequent months, and closed June with 443 cases, next to the already endemic patterns
CONCLUSIONS: Thus, we can conclude that with efficient combat actions is possible to perform an adequate comtrole this disease, even when the epidemic is already installed, but the ideal is continuing actions, avoiding the occurrence of the same.
