Plenary Session: Circumpolar Health

Monday, 18 August 2014: 8:30 AM-10:00 AM
Ballroom A/B (Dena'ina Center)

Alaska is part of the northern Circumpolar environment, with unique populations, geography, climate, and health challenges. We plan to bring this northern theme into WCE2014 by sharing our well-developed sense of place and highlight the extensive health and research collaborations that exist within the circumpolar north. This track will explore the impact of economic, cultural, climatic and environmental change on human health in the Circumpolar regions.
