Countdown to 2015: Improving the assessment of coverage and equity in low and middle-income countries.

Thursday, 21 August 2014: 10:30 AM-12:00 PM
Ballroom A/B (Dena'ina Center)

The importance of intervention coverage in achieving public health gains has entered the spotlight in recent years. This session complements the symposium on “Coverage: A Frontier for Epidemiology” by allowing early career epidemiologists working in low and middle-income countries to present their research on the topics of measurement of intervention coverage, on socioeconomic inequalities in coverage, and modeling the impact of coverage changes on under-five mortality.
