A World Council on Epidemiology and Causation

Monday, 18 August 2014: 4:30 PM-6:00 PM
Tubughnenq 3 (Dena'ina Center)

The correct evaluation of associations is essential, especially in a world of big data, data mining and hypothesis-free analyses. The idea of establishing A World Council of Epidemiology and Causality (WCEC) has been proposed. The objective of the workshop is to set out a series of actions that will be required to develop the WCEC. The discussions will be summarised as a position paper, firstly, for dissemination to potential partners in the development of the WCEC, including IEA Council.
